The company behind the tool

A safer distance.
A better method.

The load is almost landed. The gap is almost closed. A hand reaches in for one last adjustment. RiggerSafe gives the lifting team a dedicated control point for that moment.

Use a dedicated guidance tool to move the contact point away from the hand. Choose the tool and working distance through task assessment, with the load supported by the approved lifting system.

01

Purpose-built load guidance

A wide contact head, fibreglass shaft, hand guard and D-handle bring controlled engagement into daily rigging work.

02

The complete assembly matters

The entire assembly is proof-load tested to 300 kg push and 150 kg pull. These are proof-test values, not a Safe Working Load (SWL). View the test certificate ↗.

03

Control without direct hand contact

Guide and position the load while keeping hands away from the immediate contact point. Used within the lift plan and site risk assessment.

A guidance tool, not a lifting device. The crane and rigging carry the load. Proof-test values are not a lifting capacity or permission to apply excessive manual force.

Configure your RiggerSafe

One standard of control.
A range built for your site.

Three high-visibility colours. Nine distinct lengths across the range. Select an available colour and length, then choose the contact insert for your application.

Yellow & neon green: 21, 42, 50, 72 and 96 inches.
Blue: 24, 36, 48, 60 and 72 inches in the commercial selection guide. Confirm special combinations and current quantities when ordering.

Choose the contact. Keep the control.

Three inserts.
Different working surfaces.

01 / RUBBER

Everyday grip.

The standard contact option for routine industrial guidance, with grip and surface protection at the load interface.

02 / TEFLON

Smoother contact.

A low-friction option for applications where sliding contact and a non-marring interface are priorities. Confirm suitability for the load surface.

03 / ALUMINIUM

Abrasive surfaces.

An alternative where abrasive loads accelerate rubber wear. The polymer head remains a consideration when assessing temperature suitability.

Premium shaft option / No extra cost

Plastic-jacketed fibreglass.
Bright fluorescent neon-green.

Specify the premium plastic-jacketed fibreglass version at no additional cost. A distinctive fluorescent finish for teams that want a consistent, highly visible RiggerSafe standard.

Where the work demands distance

From offshore decks
to industrial yards.

01 / OIL & GAS

Offshore & drilling

Load guidance during deck lifts, equipment positioning and supply operations, within approved lifting procedures.

02 / MARINE & LOGISTICS

Shipyards & ports

Help teams guide suspended components and align cargo while maintaining separation from moving loads.

03 / HEAVY INDUSTRY

Steel, mining & EPC

Controlled contact during plant maintenance, fabrication and equipment installation across demanding industrial sites.

Five regions / one practical standard

Follow the work.
Find your regional guide.

From Onne’s oilfield logistics to the Rovuma gas basin and Namibia’s offshore-support ports, explore where hands-free load guidance can fit into assessed lifting and maintenance tasks.

Country mentions identify enquiry markets and industry context. They do not imply local PSC offices, stock, appointed distributors or customer relationships.

Country directory

At the contact point

The crane carries the load.
The tool guides the contact.

Offshore deck lifts

Plan guidance for equipment landing and alignment. Keep the operator outside the pinch zone and preserve an escape route.

Pipe yards & fabrication

Assess contact geometry, rolling hazards and working space before selecting a head, insert and length.

LNG & plant maintenance

Guide supported spools, frames and components. Never lift, pry, support or arrest load weight with the pole.

Practical answers

Before you specify.

Can you supply RiggerSafe tools for African destinations?

Contact PSC Hand Safety India with your selected configurations, quantity and delivery destination. The team will confirm available stock, lead time, freight and commercial terms for your order.

Which length should our team choose?

Choose the shortest tool that provides the required separation while preserving effective guidance. Consider the load, contact point, working space and lifting plan. The range spans nine lengths from 21 to 96 inches, with colour-specific availability.

Is the proof-test value a lifting capacity?

No. The entire assembly is proof-load tested to 300 kg push and 150 kg pull. These are proof-test loads, not an SWL or lifting capacity. RiggerSafe guides the load; the crane and rigging support it. Follow site procedures.

Can we standardise tools across several sites?

Yes. Share the tasks and site requirements so PSC can recommend a colour, length and insert mix for a pilot, then support a broader procurement specification.

Where can we see PSC’s complete hand safety range?

Visit www.pschandsafety.com and www.handsafetyfirsttools.com for the wider range of hand exposure control tools.
